Originally from Seattle, Ryan moved to Hong Kong in 2005. He is a teacher and is passionate about art, nature, and culture.

He is married to Anita, a Taiwanese, also a teacher in Hong Kong. Together, they have a lovely daughter, Micha. 

​

As a family, they love to hike in many beautiful trails of Hong Kong. Often, they look out over the city from the top of the hills, watching butterflies and insects nearby.

It is this that inspired Ryan to creat Hong Kong Coloring Book. Ryan hopes you will enjoy relaxing while coloring, and getting to know just how wonderful  Hong Kong is through his illustrations.
